Did I forget to say the Bush approach to *global warming is hopelessly behind the times and that "Bush & Company" made FEMA ineffective? The control of the legislature and presidency MUST be regained by Progressive Patriots. Until that time WE must tell "Dubya" : YOU HAVE NO MANDATE." Now go sit in the back seat of the car, be quiet and don't drop your ice-cream cone." The Democratic party must inspire politically bright, informed and energetic citizens to regain the control of America from the greedy hands of "Bush & Company" and the Neo-Cons. "Bush & CO," includes Cheney, Karl Rove, Rumsfeld* and Wolfowitz ( two FAILED Iraq-War planners ), Richard Armitage, Grover Norquist and a roomful of the wealthy elite : "The Vulcans." George Bush graduated from the *Texas* school of politics which says that government should exist for the purpose of helping business, and everything else government does is secondary. George Bush likes to call The Estate Tax The Death Tax, for the EXPLICIT PURPOSE of making the average person think there must be something wrong with it. The elimination of the Estate Tax would provide more wealth to an extremely small number of the very wealthy elite, and at the same time increase the tax burden upon the rest of America. The goal of "Bush & CO" is to direct the *wealth of America to the rich,* to those who already have the wealth. There are some loonies out there who actually believe that if you are rich it is because God wants you to be rich. Like you are one of the CHOSEN ones. The Neo-Cons, (New Conservatives), want everyone to believe that they can redefine "Conservative," in their own very narrow terms. What they are really saying is, "WE are in charge, WE know how the world works, and YOU can take it or leave it." The "Mandate Illusion" was created, even though a poll taken right after the 2004 election discredited reasons Bush gave for why people voted for him. It was up to television and print media to actively pursue the "Mandate" issue but the major media still seem too cautious of probing aggresively into the policies of " Bush & CO . "Bush & CO" has managed to create the message and then identify the press as the enemy of the message. Anyone who disagrees is the enemy. Karl Rove knows all too well that if the same lie is repeated day after day, the right-wing radio screamers and fact twisters will pick it up, repeat and enhance the Administration message, and eventually, people who should know better, start believing the Bush Administration lies. 911 Bush wasted no time making the connection between the 911 bombing and Sadam Hussein, even in the light of conflicting intelligence, and the fact that none of the plane hijackers were Iraqis but were mostly Saudis. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 4 years after 911 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Bush shamefully used the 911 tragedy to make this questionable connection, and did so on what seemed a nightly basis, and at the same time Bush fought against the idea of a 911 Commission. Here was Bush, arguing against the wishes of the widows and widowers of 911, those most in favor of a 911 Commission. The "George Bush" Iraq War In WWII, when the German Army started "The Battle Of The Bulge" counter offensive, I doubt that Dwight David Eisenhower said, "Bring'em On," when the German tanks and infantry were advancing. I doubt that Lincoln said, "Bring'em On," on hearing that General Grant was marching north. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Apparently there was not enough bloodshed in Iraq for Bush. In an interview on July 2, 2003 when George W. Bush was asked about the Iraqi resistance confronting the coalition army Bush said with a bravado-like taunt to the Iraqi resistance fighters. Our all-volunteer military does not deserve that stupidity from the "Commander-In-Chief". ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Iraq War Costs ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The Iraq war, according to Wolfowitz was going to cost a few billion, and the sale of Iraq oil would rebuild the country. What an expensive joke that was. For an outrageously bad cost-of-war estimate, Bush appointed Wolfowitz to be the President of The World Bank. The cost of the Iraq war will come close to 1000 billion US dollars.
